Workers in their 60s at new construction sites, killed by construction equipment.

At around 9:20 a.m. today (14th), a worker in his 60s fell after being hit on his shoulder and waist by construction equipment at a new wastewater treatment plant in Hyeonyeong-dong, Iksan, Jeollabuk-do.

Mr. A, a member of the service company, was taken to the hospital by paramedics in cardiac arrest and died.

Police and fire authorities are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
