Lee Jin-sook, chairman of the Korea Communications Commission, passed the National Assembly led by the opposition Democratic Party and other opposition parties to demand an audit of the Board of Audit and Inspection, claiming that she violated political neutrality.

Lee Jin-sook's request for an audit of the head of the Korea Communications Standards Commission, which was presented at the plenary session of the National Assembly today (14th), was passed with 191 votes in favor and 98 against the 289 present.

Earlier, the National Assembly's Science, Technology, Information, Broadcasting and Communications Committee decided on an audit request led by the opposition party, saying that Lee's criticism of the opposition party on a conservative YouTube channel while his job was suspended due to the passing of the impeachment bill was a violation of the government employees' political neutrality duty.
