Today, the day of the College Scholastic Ability Test, a connection failure occurred at the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education's educational administrative information system, NEIS, which is also used to identify test takers.

Fortunately, it was restored before the first period of the CSAT, but there was confusion at the site.

When I entered the address accessing the education computer system of the Gyeonggi-do Office of Education, an error page appears.

Around 7 a.m., a test site in Gyeonggi-do reported that there was a connection disruption to the Gyeonggi-do Office of Education Nice.

College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) candidates who do not have identification cards can identify themselves by comparing their faces with photos in their student records with Nice, which has access to students' information,

Nice connection failure has disrupted the identification of the examinee.

The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education explained that it seems to have recognized the connection disruption while trying to identify the examinee who did not bring his ID card.

In addition, Nice said that bypass access is possible through VPN,
He added that he also instructed each test site
to access Nice via VPN.

At 8:20 a.m., just before the start of the first period of the CSAT, Nice was restored by booting the server back up, but the test site was once confused by a connection failure.

The Ministry of Education believes that there is a problem with the cloud service introduced to prevent users from being overwhelmed by the usual concentration of users in Nice, and is trying to determine the cause of the failure in detail.
