After the personal information of Yang Kwang-joon (38), an active military officer who damaged his body after killing a colleague he was dating, was released, his junior at the Korea Military Academy confessed that he was in shock, mentioning an anecdote with Yang.

Kim Se-jin, a YouTuber from the Korea Military Academy, confessed to his YouTube channel community on the 13th, "I was surprised by the cruel criminal act, I was also surprised to be an active officer, and I couldn't say anything more because it was the 65th Military Academy, which has the most seniors I like and respect."

Kim, who was born in 1988, is a 67th Korean Military Academy, two years below Yang Kwang-jun.

Kim said of Yang Kwang-joon, "I was a senior of my company for a year when I was a student," adding, "I remember especially when I was in the second grade, covering and caring for my ears with frostbite while preparing for a big event in the cold."

He then said, "I was surprised to see this incident because I remember being a person who treated my juniors warmly with a gentle and good personality and also with my colleagues."

At the same time, he demanded Yang Kwang-joon's expulsion from the 65th Military Academy and said, "Rather than considering it as a personal deviation, we need to reflect on and innovate whether there are any mistakes in the personnel, advancement, and unit management system. This incident will be recorded as the worst stigma since the opening of the Military Academy," he stressed.

"We are concerned that the protection and recovery of victims and their families seem to be on the back burner, with all the media and public attention focused on criminals," Kim said, praying for the deceased's restoration.
