The People's Power pointed out that the Democratic Party of Korea's Ahn Gui-ryeong poured out absurd remarks against the elderly after the first trial of Lee Jae-myung's violation of the Public Official Election Act.
Shin Joo-ho, a full-time deputy spokesman, issued a comment, saying that after Lee's sentence, Ahn left the court and told citizens on the spot to "age well."
He then criticized the Democratic Party for denigrating the elderly, saying that the party's innovation committee is "those who have a short future" and that the spokesman now denigrates the elderly.
He also urged the Democratic Party of Korea to apologize, saying that Ahn, who was in Lee's eyes, made immoral remarks, saying, "It seems that Lee Jae-myung is more than Cha Eun-woo."
Earlier, spokesperson Ahn went out of the court immediately after Lee's sentence and told protesters who welcomed Lee's prison sentence, "Old properly, what are you doing here after you get old?"
