Zelensky "war will end sooner under Trump administration"

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky says the war against Russia will end sooner if U.S. President-elect Donald Trump takes office.

In an interview with his own radio station "Suspilne" on the 15th local time, President Zelensky said the war would end sooner due to Trump's policies to lead the White House.

At the same time, he stressed that just peace is paramount to Ukraine.

President Zelensky's remarks are interpreted as an expression of expectation for Trump's profession that he can conclude the war in Ukraine quickly by concluding the end-of-war negotiations between Ukraine and Russia.
