South Korea, the U.S. and Japan "condemn North Korea's dispatch to Russiathe adoption of a joint statement

The leaders of Yoon Suk Yeol, U.S. President Biden and Japanese Prime Minister Ishiba have adopted a joint statement condemning North Korea's illegal military cooperation with Russia, including its dispatch to Russia.

The leaders of South Korea, the U.S. and Japan met in Peru, where the APEC summit will be held early this morning in Korean time, and adopted a joint statement strongly condemning Russia's illegal military cooperation and supporting Ukraine's exercise of self-defense.

They also agreed to cooperate in denuclearizing the Korean Peninsula, promoting human rights in North Korea, and blocking North Korea's illegal activities.

In addition, the leaders of the three countries based on the spirit of Camp David met and decided to unite to promote human rights, democracy, security and prosperity, and announced the establishment of a secretariat between South Korea, the U.S. and Japan.

He also declared that trilateral cooperation will contribute to the brighter, safer and more prosperous future of the people of the three countries and serve as a mechanism for peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region in the future.
