President Yoon proposes 'APEC AI Standards Forum'..."We need to establish a common authentication system".

President Yoon Suk Yeol proposed the creation of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation AI Standards Forum to promote the combination of manufacturing and artificial intelligence.

President Yoon, who visited Peru to attend the APEC summit, said in his keynote speech at the APEC CEO Summit that AI has entered an era of AI transformation that influences corporate competitiveness and national security and changes the paradigm of the global economy.

He said that the combination of manufacturing and AI should be promoted to strengthen the competitiveness of local companies, and that a working group should be established to discover and spread best practices for industrial AI, and a common standard and certification system should be established.President

Yoon also stressed that APEC is highly dependent on regional interdependence and that stabilizing supply chains is very important, and that new norms and orders must be established to strengthen digital connectivity.

For APEC's co-prosperity, climate change and energy issues must be resolved, and he proposed holding a "carbon-free energy summit" involving governments, international organizations, energy consumers and suppliers at the APEC event next year.

The APEC CEO Summit is held every year as a side event of the APEC Summit, and the next year's chairman will be succeeded by an economic organization in Korea, the host country.
