A business that has been brokering prostitution at the same place for as many as 11 years was caught by the police and demolished.
Although it has been cracked down on six times in the past, new owners have come in every time and have repeatedly engaged in illegal prostitution without changing the name.

Police, including here, have caught four illegal prostitution businesses in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul.
One place has been cracked down on at least six times by the police, but they have been engaged in gut sales without changing their name.
It continued to operate with only the owner changed at each crackdown, and that period alone amounted to 11 years.
We also falsely registered business operators as beauty materials wholesale and retail businesses or vodecape businesses.
In addition, two businesses operated in one building, and the police booked the owner of the building, believing that the owner had tolerated prostitution for a long time.
However, despite such constant crackdowns, 83% of prostitution businesses in Seoul resumed business.
Even if the owner is punished, the vicious cycle of another owner taking over the baton and taking black money is repeated as long as the facilities remain.

Police arrested 14 people, including business owners, employees, and customers who operated illegal prostitution businesses in Gwangjin-gu, and arrested one person.
