President Yoon Suk Yeol, who is traveling to South America to attend a multilateral conference, left Peru and arrived in Brazil this morning Korean time.President
Yoon arrived in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where the G20 summit will be held, and was greeted by Breno Costa, the ambassador to Rio, and Choi Young-han, the ambassador to Brazil, at Galéan Air Base.President
Yoon will speak at Session 1 and Session 3 during the two days of the G20 summit and call for solidarity and cooperation from the international community on hunger and poverty eradication, response to climate change, and the Russia-Ukraine crisis.
The Presidential Office is holding discussions with relevant countries to hold a series of bilateral summits with South Africa, Mexico and Indonesia on the occasion of the G20.
