All inland cold wave warnings have been lifted, but the season quickly turned into winter this morning as Seoul also hit its first sub-zero mark this fall.

It is predicted that the cold weather will continue until tomorrow morning. We will connect with reporters to find out more about the current status and prospects of the cold.

Reporter Kim Min-kyung, it was very cold this morning as if winter had begun. But all the inland cold wave warnings have been lifted?

[Reporter]
Yes, it is.

The first cold wave warning issued in Jeollabuk-do this fall and cold wave warnings in Gangwon-do and south of Chungcheong-do were lifted as of 10 a.m.

The cold wave warning is issued in areas where the temperature is expected to drop by more than 10 degrees Celsius from the previous day and cold weather is expected to be more than 3 degrees Celsius lower than the average year.

This morning was the time to warn of such a situation, and for this reason, the Korea Meteorological Administration took effect yesterday afternoon.

This morning, the temperature of Hyangrobong Peak in Goseong, Gangwon-do fell to minus 10 degrees Celsius, and Seoul also recorded its first sub-zero temperature this fall.

Now, the Korea Meteorological Administration has decided that the biggest crisis has passed.

Then are you getting rid of the cold now?

[Reporter]
The cold wave warning has been lifted, but the cold below zero will continue like today until tomorrow morning.

Seoul 0 degrees, Paju -4 degrees, Cheorwon -5 degrees, and Daegwallyeong -5 degrees will stay below zero.

In particular, by tomorrow morning, most parts of the country are expected to be icy and frosty.

However, it is expected that the temperature will rise by 3 degrees tomorrow afternoon than today, restoring previous years' temperatures.

However, this week, even if the temperature recovers in previous years, it will feel cold.

Since the warm weather continued far above the average temperature until last weekend, it is likely to feel relatively cold even if the average temperature recovers.

Please pay special attention to your health care for the time being.
