More than 1,000 applicants for 'post-payment of medical expenses' in Chungbuk

Chungcheongbuk-do has more than 1,000 applicants for a "post-payment system for medical expenses" that allows the vulnerable to provide interest-free loans of up to 3 million won and repay them in installments for 36 months.

The system was implemented for the first time in the country since January last year, with 863 people having implants, 59 people with spinal diseases, and 18 people with cardiovascular diseases.

Thirteen general hospitals and 230 hospitals and clinics in Chungbuk are participating in the postpaid medical expenses system.
