The Gangnam Police Station in Seoul received a complaint against Hanmi Pharmaceutical Chairman Song Young-sook and Hanmi Pharmaceutical CEO Park Jae-hyun from Hanmi Group CEO Han Sung-joon.The complainant
argued that Park's three-year donation of about 12 billion won to the Gahyeon Cultural Foundation under the order of Chairman Song without the board's resolution or approval constitutes breach of trust.
Corey Group is the largest shareholder of Chairman Song's son, Im Jong-yoon, an in-house director of Hanmi Science.
Lim Jong-hoon, the second son of Hanmi Science, was found to have filed a complaint against the so-called "three-party alliance," including Chairman Song and his younger brother Lim Joo-hyun, vice chairman of Hanmi Pharmaceutical Group, claiming that they spread false information to shareholders.
Chairman Song reportedly apologized to shareholders, saying the contents were different from the facts and that it was his fault for not raising his son well.
