The ruling and opposition parties have agreed to complete the process of recommending three constitutional judges to the National Assembly, which is currently vacant, by the 22nd.

Choo Kyung-ho, floor leader of the People's Power Party, and Park Chan-dae of the Democratic Party of Korea, said in a briefing after a meeting presided over by National Assembly Speaker Woo Won-sik, "We need to discuss how many more the ruling and opposition parties will recommend, but we will try to be appointed within the regular session of the National Assembly."

On the 17th of last month, three of the nine constitutional judges ended their terms, but they differed over the power of the people and the recommendation method of one person, one by one by the Democratic Party, respectively, claiming the ruling and opposition parties' agreement and majority party authority.

The ruling and opposition parties also said they set the date for the plenary session on the 2nd of next month, the deadline for deliberation on the budget, and the 10th of next month, the last day of the regular session, and explained that the plenary session will be held through consultations between the senior vice floor leaders.
