Kwon Hye-ryeon, the author of "Dandelion Hall Seed," will hold a solo exhibition for the first time in nine years. From the 20th, Kwon Hye-ryeon will hold her second solo exhibition at the 6th Exhibition Hall of the Gyeongin Museum of Art in Insa-dong, Seoul.It said it will hold "Fly with Dandelion Dream".

The exhibition, which will be held until the 26th, will feature 40 works of various "dandelions" painted since the first solo exhibition in 2015. The works, expressed as a meeting between Western painting and "Korean paper texture," tried to express their own dandelions and hols by adding a smoother drawing method with oil painting from the existing method of expressing ink and acrylic, Kwon introduced.

"Unlike other flowers, dandelion flowers do not fall off and form seeds, but rather they become hodgepodge as if they were fruit," Kwon said. "They blow their own hodgepodge without the help of bees and butterflies, and in spring, they fell in love with the uniformity of dandelions that are found in a wider place than last year."

He also said, "The more you brush, the better the picture comes out, but you lose your initial purity," adding, "I learned that I should also know how to give up in repetitive work."

Kwon, who majored in urban planning at Stuttgart University in Germany, has been working at the Seocho Art Association and the Arts Association, and since his first solo exhibition in 2015, he has participated in various group exhibitions such as the Friendship Exhibition, the Seocho Art Association Exhibition, the Flower Exhibition, and the Hwajung Story Exhibition.
