Prime Minister Han posted on his Facebook page and mourned that Patriot Oh, a female independence activist who entered the independence movement in Liuzhou, China at the young age of 14, died yesterday (17th) at the age of 98.
At the same time, he honored the deceased as a person who was born into a family devoted to the independence movement and considered the independence movement his destiny.
At the Liberation Day ceremony in 2017, Prime Minister Han said that the deceased singing the "National Anthem of the Liberation Army" resonated deeply in the hearts of many people, stressing that the government will do its best to serve the patriots who risked their lives to help the Republic of Korea exist today.
