The Office of the President's Security Service said it regretted the distorted judgment and reporting of legitimate security safety activities over the controversy over Yoon Suk Yeol's "overreaction" of golf practice coverage, and said it was a legitimate measure in accordance with laws and regulations.

The security service issued a statement and explained that during an unofficial security event on the 9th, personnel of Shinwon Buddha violated the security area without permission, so they found them near the main gate, restrained filming, and took measures to delete the image.

He then pointed out that it is not reasonable to talk about "overreaction" to legal coverage, saying that they continued filming while hiding in the forest without revealing their identity and even fled.

A security official added that he regrets the distorted judgment and reports of legitimate security safety activities.

Earlier, a broadcaster reporter was stopped by security officials while covering the scene where President Yoon played golf at the Taeneung Physical Fitness Center in Nowon-gu, Seoul.
