A number of people were caught fraudulently applying for apartments by falsifying qualifications.

Among the complexes sold in the second half of last year, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport investigated only 40 and 23,839 households suspected of illegal subscriptions and detected 127 cases.

There were 107 false resident registration types to qualify for subscription for residents or homeless households in the area, and three cases were also eligible for special supply subscription through false divorce.

In addition, 16 cases were caught in which the developer conspired with the winners of the lower floors to siphon off the first-come, first-served supply to the unsold property of the royal floors and then subscribe.

In addition, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport found 18 cases of subscribing to a single-parent family's special supply house without registering a marriage even though they actually had a family and canceled the win.

If a fraudulent subscription is caught, it is subject to criminal punishment of up to three years in prison or a fine of up to 30 million won, as well as a limit on subscription, and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport emphasized that it is conducting a full investigation into the Seoul metropolitan area's pre-sale complexes that are overheated.
