A life sentence in his 40s that set fire to an inn and killed three people.

A man in his 40s was sentenced to life imprisonment for setting the inn on fire and killing three guests when he was kicked out of the inn due to a conflict over accommodation costs.

At the hearing of 48-year-old Kim at the Cheongju District Court, the prosecution asked the court to sentence him to life imprisonment.

Kim is accused of setting fire to an inn in Namju-dong, Cheongju, where he was staying early on September 21st, killing three guests.

Kim was found to have committed the crime in outrage when he had nowhere to go after being evicted from his accommodation expenses the day before the incident.
