Starting next year, Gyeonggi Sharing School Credit Admission Program

The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education announced that it will operate a shared school credit recognition program starting next year.

Unlike the previously school-centered joint curriculum, the Office of Education analyzes student demand and needs and opens courses for local students.

Starting next year, nine education support offices will operate programs from Goyang, Guri Namyangju, Gimpo, Bucheon, Seongnam, Ansan, Yongin, Icheon, and Uijeongbu.Starting with Goyang,

, applications for classes will begin this week for 2nd and 3rd graders of general high schools as of 2025.

The credit-recognition program is operated mainly on subjects that are difficult to operate as a joint curriculum within schools or between schools.

Detailed subjects include semiconductor manufacturing, artificial intelligence utilization, and cartoon content production.
