Trump "Tariffs 25% on Mexican and Canadian products as soon as he takes office"

U.S. President-elect Donald Trump has said he will impose a 25% tariff on all products coming into the U.S. from Mexico and Canada.

Trump posted on Truth Social on the 25th local time, saying he would take the step as one of his first executive orders as soon as he took office on January 20.

Tariffs will remain in place until the two countries crack down on drugs, especially fentanyl and migrants crossing the border illegally, it added.
