Exclusive Lee Dong-hwi and Jung Ho-yeon broke up after 9 years of open romantic relationship...from a lover to a colleague

Actors Lee Dong-hwi and Jung Ho-yeon, who have been loved as an official couple in the entertainment industry, have ended their nine-year romantic relationship.

As a result of YTN coverage today (26th), Lee Dong-hwi and Jung Ho-yeon recently broke up and went back to their colleagues. The two, who have been loved as a representative entertainment longevity couple for the past nine years, are now back to their respective seats to handle their busy schedules.

The two, who admitted their romantic relationship in 2016, showed a roaring appearance that was faithful to their main job but did not hide their affection for each other in public. When asked about her lover's reaction in a media interview after becoming a global star with "Squid Game," Jung Ho-yeon mentioned that she was "proud of me."

Lee Dong-hwi appeared in the ENA entertainment show "Kwak Jun-bin's World Driver's Restaurant 2" released in August and made headlines by boasting about the heroine "Dawn" in the play, "My girlfriend and best friend," to a taxi driver he met in Los Angeles.

Meanwhile, Lee Dong-hwi played the leading role of Kim Sang-soon in the MBC drama "Investigation Team Leader 1958," which ended in May. He is meeting viewers with the currently airing tvN entertainment show "Renting to Finland," and will return to the stage after playing the role of Bizler in the play "The Life of Others," which opens on the 27th.

Jung Ho-yeon, a former model and a global star through Season 1 of "Squid Game," successfully entered Hollywood through "Disclamer," which was released on Apple TV+ last month. In the play, Catherine (played by Cate Blanchett)'s assistant "Jisoo" was decomposed to reveal stable acting skills and presence.
