The Democratic Party of Korea criticized President Yoon Suk Yeol for exercising his right to demand reconsideration, or veto, on the Special Prosecutor's Act on First Lady Kim Gun-hee, and criticized him for trying to follow in the footsteps of former President Rhee Syng-man, who was expelled by the April 19 Revolution.

Floor leader Park Chan-dae said at a press conference in front of the presidential office in Yongsan that President Yoon is the third independent counsel law for Kim and is trying to write the worst record since former President Rhee Syng-man by using his veto power 25 times in the two and a half years since taking office.

He then pointed out that President Yoon is the only president who has refused the special prosecution, which targets him and his family, and that the red card should also have a fountain.
