Sergei Narishin, director of Russia's Foreign Intelligence Agency (SVR), says Russia strongly rejects any option to freeze the Ukraine conflict, including a "Korean-style scenario."
Speaking to reporters after the 20th Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) Security and Intelligence Agency meeting in Moscow, Russia, today (26th), Director Narishin told reporters that Russia firmly rejects any proposal to freeze the conflict, whether it follows a Korean scenario or otherwise.
He then emphasized that Russia now takes the lead on the battlefield and wants a "solid and long-term peace" that addresses the key causes that caused the situation.
Narsikin also argued that the West is deliberately trying to destabilize the international order in many key parts of the world.
