The ruling and opposition parties agreed to re-vote the first lady, Kim Gun-hee, at the plenary session of the National Assembly on the 10th of next month.

It was delayed about two weeks later than originally expected, but the ruling party is expected to crack down on the internal government to prevent the vote from leaving, and the opposition party is expected to make all-out efforts in a public opinion campaign to attract votes in favor.

The re-vote of the Kim Gun-hee Special Counsel Act, which was originally expected to be around the 28th of this month, has been postponed to a plenary session on the 10th of next month, the last day of the regular session of the National Assembly.

The ruling and opposition parties' agreement has also delayed reporting of the impeachment motion against prosecutors investigating Kim's alleged stock price manipulation.

[Park Chan-dae / Minjoo Party floor leader: It would be appropriate for the ruling and opposition parties to be fully prepared because they have to participate in the vote with all their might....]

There was still a war of nerves between the ruling and opposition parties over the special prosecutor.

The power of the people deprives the ruling party of the special counsel's right to recommend and appoint the president, and the head of the Supreme Court, which hears suspicions of stock price manipulation, has repeatedly argued that the special counsel Kim is unconstitutional.

[Choo Kyung-ho / People's Power Floor Leader: I suggested exercising the request for reconsideration because it contains unconstitutional elements..]

The ruling party focused on cracking down on votes as the bill will pass if eight out of 108 ruling party lawmakers approve the special prosecution in the re-voting, but
There is also an atmosphere of concern that the controversy over the
party bulletin board will affect the vote.

This is because there was a history of four leave votes when pro-Yoon Seok-yeol and close Dong-hoon had a conflict over the need for Kim's apology last month.

However, the close Dong-hoon community also believes that the "single response" for the rejection of the independent counsel law should be kept, saying that the controversy over the party's bulletin board should not go wrong.

The Democratic Party of Korea expects to secure enough votes to leave if it squeezes through the gap in the internal strife as negative public opinion against Kim remains and the ruling camp continues through the party's bulletin board.

Regarding the exercise of President Yoon Suk Yeol's right to demand reconsideration, he strongly criticized that he was writing the record of the most and worst vetoes after former President Syngman Rhee.

While the Democratic Party of Korea is speeding up its rental offensive by using Lee Jae-myung's innocence in the first trial of perjury, the ruling party is confident that there will be no departure vote, but the variable is that it is an anonymous vote that guarantees anonymity.
