The project to create Incheon Robot Land, which began as a national project in 2007 and has been drifting for 17 years, will resume.

Incheon City Corporation under the Incheon Metropolitan Government said it plans to start building infrastructure for 720,000 square meters of remaining land out of 769,000 square meters of the planned Incheon Robotland project in Cheongna International City in the first half of next year.

To this end, in August last year, an agreement was signed with Incheon City to normalize the robot land business, and in March this year, Incheon City applied to the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy to change the plan to implement the creation.

The Incheon Metropolitan Government and the Incheon Urban Innovation Corporation plan to start construction of infrastructure in the first half of next year and start attracting and marketing tenant companies in earnest if the Ministry of Industry approves it next month.

The remaining 720,000㎡ of Robot Land in Incheon consists of 220,000㎡ of robot industrial land, 150,000㎡ of theme park land, 130,000㎡ of commercial and business facilities, and 220,000㎡ of parking lot, park, green space, and road land.
