The ruling and opposition parties of the Gyeonggi Provincial Council, which have been at odds over the appointment of Gyeonggi Governor Kim Dong-yeon to the political affairs line, have agreed to normalize the agenda.

Choi Jong-hyun, chairman of the Democratic Party of Korea, and Kim Jung-ho, chairman of the People's Power, signed an agreement to normalize the schedule of the 379th regular meeting today (27th).

The agreement states that the two parties will deal with the supplementary budget bill at the plenary session on the 13th of next month and strive to deal with the main budget bill for next year at the plenary session on the 19th of next month.

In addition, a plenary session will be held on the 28th and 29th of this month to conduct questions on the provincial government and five-minute remarks on lawmakers, and a special committee on the reform of the parliament system will be established to discuss ways to open the 12th provincial council.

In addition, the delegation withdrew its no-confidence motion of the chairman and demanded that the province purchase the GH complex in the Gwanggyo building as a member's hall, while promising to implement the rules of prior consultation on the operation of the parliament in the future.

As a result, the conflict between the two parties has been closed in 22 days since the 5th, when the People's Power of the Provincial Council declared its refusal to attend the regular plenary session, demanding the withdrawal of the appointment of Governor Kim's political line, including Kim Bong-kyun, senior presidential secretary for cooperation.

Until now, the power of the people has been attending standing committee meetings while maintaining the boycott policy of the plenary session, but most of the agenda has been disrupted as they have continued to "deliberate but not make a decision."
