Yes, there are five new cities in Gyeonggi-do, including Bundang, Ilsan, Pyeongchon, Middle East, and Sanbon, that began moving in in the early 1990s.

36,000 units were selected as leading districts in 13 districts, 2 or 3 districts for each new city.

In detail, Bundang has 10,948 units in three areas, including Geumho, Yangji Village, and Woosung, a pilot complex,

is 3, area 8,912 in three areas, including Baeksong Village Complex 1 and Hugok Village Complex 3,

Pyeongchon has 5,460 units in three areas, including Sam Village and Dream Village, 5,957 units in two areas, including Daewoo Dongbu, and 4,620 units in Sanbon New Town, including Jai Lilies.

Separately, two row houses in Bundang and Ilsan, 1,400 units, will be designated as "separate maintenance volume" and managed at a level comparable to that of the leading district, and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport said it has designated this area in consideration of diversifying housing types and requesting additional local governments.

After the size and detailed plan for the selection of the first new city reconstruction leading district were announced at the end of May, each candidate area made fierce efforts to increase the resident consent rate, and 153,000 units submitted applications at the end of September, and as a result, the leading district was confirmed with a competition ratio of 4.25 to 1.

First of all, the leading district has been selected, but there will be a difficult process until the reconstruction is completed in the future, so what is the government's plan?

Yes, in May, the government received the proposal in September this year, evaluated it in October, and finally announced the leading district in November, but so far, it has been implemented as planned.

In the future, the government plans to designate a special maintenance area next year, approve the implementation plan and management disposition next year, start construction in 27 years, and move in in 30 years.

First of all, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, the Ministry of Education, and the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education will sign a business agreement next month and continue close cooperation to solve the school problem, one of the factors that prolong the maintenance project.

In addition, in order to reduce conflicts and complaints over the results of calculating the estimated contribution, we decided to calculate the contribution through the government agency, the Korea Real Estate Agency.

In addition, the electronic consent method will be preemptively introduced as early as March next year to reduce fatigue among local governments and residents during the process of writing and verifying consent forms.

It also decided to support financing by creating a 12 trillion won Future City Fund.

At the same time, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport said it will come up with a sequential maintenance plan for each district by the first half of next year to solve the curiosity and anxiety of the complexes that have not been designated as leading districts.
