Producer Kim Hyung-seok has been recognized by Oxford University in the UK.
Producer Kim Hyung-seok was recently selected as the first artist among six "global artists" selected by Oxford University, a world-renowned university. As part of the Humanities Division/Kellogg College Visitors Scheme, which brings the world's top artists and scholars together to try to create and research, producer Kim Hyung-seok will begin his creation and research at Oxford next month as a visiting scholar.
A total of six global artists passed Oxford University's self-evaluation, including producer Kim Hyung-seok, are made up of artists and organizations that have achieved global achievements. Producer Kim Hyung-seok was evaluated as an "innovative artist" who led the globalization and success of K-POP and will visit various colleges in Oxford in the future to share knowledge, build exchanges with world-class scholars, and participate in international conferences.
It also conducts education for students and researchers based on professional experience. In particular, Oxford University is looking forward to the collaboration between producer Kim Hyung-seok and Professor Jieun Kier's research team. Producer Kim not only created and announced the "GaNada Song" for the globalization of Hangeul in July in partnership with Professor Care, who wrote it, but also allowed a research team at Oxford University to use 1,400 songs that he owns copyright for free, so the future collaboration is also expected.
Following the selection of global artists, producer Kim will hold a special lecture and concert at Wolfson College at Oxford University on the 4th of next month to reveal his vision for the combination of K-POP and A.I.
Producer Kim Hyung-seok said through the Noden Commando Entertainment, which he founded, "I think the entire K-pop was recognized, not individuals. We will study 'sustainable Korean Wave' at Oxford University, the world's leading research institute, and make sure to produce results.
