With strong snow reaching 1 to 5 centimeters per hour currently falling in southern Gyeonggi Province and northern Chungcheong Province, strong and heavy snow is expected to be concentrated in Seoul within an hour.
The Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) urged special attention, saying that as the strong snow clouds formed in the West Sea are moving rapidly, there will be more places with strong snow around 11 p.m. in Seoul.
So far, snowfall has reached 31.9cm in Idong-eup, Yongin-si, and 27.5cm in Gwanak-gu, Seoul.
By tomorrow (28th), heavy snow is expected to fall up to 25cm in southern Gyeonggi Province and up to 10cm in Seoul and northern Gyeonggi Province.
