A series of "no-show" cases have occurred in Chungju, North Chungcheong Province, where military officials impersonated military officials and placed group orders at restaurants and then cut off contact.

Chungju Police Station is investigating the damage caused by no-show in four to five restaurants in the jurisdiction, including a rice soup restaurant, over the past month.The impersonator of a

military officer ordered using different phone numbers for each restaurant, and police are considering the possibility of using a cannon phone.

A police official advised, "In order to prevent damage caused by the no-show, we need to ask for advance payments when ordering a group," adding, "We need to be careful as similar damage is continuing."
