Kim Jang-gyeom, a member of the People's Power, stressed that legislation should be accelerated to enable the application of regulations under domestic law to Namuwiki, a Paraguay-based knowledge and information site.
Rep. Kim made the claim on his SNS, saying that no one should be harmed by the pen stick wielded in the name of the majority, and even if so, he should be able to easily receive damage relief under domestic law.
YouTube and Facebook all asked how long they should watch Namuwiki, which is becoming a monster, saying that they can pay taxes on domestic agents and request damage relief from domestic agents.
The Namuwiki Transparency Act, proposed by Representative Kim, calls for strengthening the designation of domestic agents for companies that provide domestic services like Namuwiki but avoid legal responsibility by being headquartered overseas and recovering profits from illegal information distribution.
