Due to the heavy snow, 2,37 schools in six cities and provinces nationwide were closed and school hours adjusted.
According to the damage status compiled by the Ministry of Education, 1,337 schools in Gyeonggi-do decided to close, and two schools each in Seoul, Incheon, and Chungbuk.
In addition, 694 schools were found to have adjusted their school hours or school hours.
In particular, 41% of the schools in Gyeonggi-do Province adjusted their class schedules.
Fortunately, there were no casualties or significant facility damage in the school, but 331 schools reported minor facility damage, such as falling trees or damaging awnings.
