Russia and Ukraine, which are at war, have repatriated a total of nine children from their countries.
Mariya Libova-Belova, a commissioner for children's rights in Russia's presidential office, said on the 28th local time that seven Ukrainian children in Russia had been sent back to Ukraine by Qatar's mediation.
Earlier, Ukraine also sent two children back to Russia the day before due to Qatar's mediation.

Libova-Belova said 87 children have so far returned to Ukraine and 15 have been reunited with their families in Russia.
Russian ambassador to Qatar Ahmed bin Naser Al-Sani said he hoped all children would be able to return to their Russian and Ukrainian homes.
