The Democratic Party of Korea has not stopped pressing for an omnidirectional loan through various impeachment, including the first impeachment of the Board of Audit and Inspection of the Constitutional Court, and the special prosecutor Kim Gun-hee.

The people's power is strongly protesting that the Democratic Party's regime shaking and impeachment addiction have gone too far.

I'm connecting you with a reporter from the National Assembly. Reporter PARK JEONG HYUN!

Yes, it's the National Assembly.

With the Democratic Party officially pushing for the impeachment of the Board of Audit and Inspection, the political battle is intensifying?

[Reporter]
Yes, the Democratic Party plans to report to the plenary session on the 2nd of next month the impeachment of the Board of Audit and Inspection of Korea Choi Hae-soo.

The impeachment bill of three prosecutors, including Lee Chang-soo, head of the Central District Prosecutors' Office, which was originally announced, will also be posted.

Since the impeachment bill must be voted on within 72 hours after the plenary session's report, the plan is to start a vote on the 4th, two days later.

The Democratic Party of Korea has cited poor audits related to the relocation of the presidential residence and perjury of the National Assembly, which raised suspicions of Kim Gun-hee's involvement, as reasons for impeachment of the Board of Audit and Inspection.

In response, Choi met with reporters at the National Assembly today and expressed his regret that the Democratic Party's impeachment is a "political impeachment."

[Choi Hae-sa / Director of the Board of Audit and Inspection: In short, we are very sorry for this political impeachment that undermines the foundation of the constitutional order.]

He stressed that the opposition party's raising of the issue of insolvency audit only included the audit contents in the report according to laws and principles.

He also said that he thought the perjury issue was answered faithfully by the National Audit Office, and that it was difficult to admit because he did not present exactly what he perjured.

At the same time, he drew a line that he was not willing to resign on his own.

In response, the ruling party slammed the impeachment as the 10th impeachment prosecution in the 22nd National Assembly, calling it an attempt to neutralize the government and a rampage.

Floor leader Choo Kyung-ho argued at a morning meeting that it was a sneaky plan to suspend Choi's duties and make the auditor appointed by the Moon Jae In government lead the Board of Audit and Inspection to make it an organization under the Democratic Party.

[Choo Kyung-ho / People's Power Floor Leader: This is a clear retaliation for the Moon Jae In government's audit of deep-rooted evils, including the manipulation of house price statistics, the early closure of Wolseong Nuclear Power Plant No. 1 due to unreasonable nuclear power plant policy, and the leakage of military secrets from THAAD]

At the same time as impeachment, the Democratic Party is raising the level of the special prosecutor's offensive, right?

[Reporter]
Yes, the Democratic Party of Korea yesterday passed a revision to the permanent special prosecution rule that excludes the ruling party's right to recommend special prosecutors if the president and his family are subject to investigation.

Because it is a revision of the National Assembly's operating rules, it is not subject to the right to request a presidential reconsideration,
Accordingly, the Permanent Special Prosecutor Act, which takes effect immediately, requires one person to be appointed within three days after the president receives a candidate's recommendation.

The Democratic Party of Korea is raising its standards, saying that failure to comply is a violation of the law and constitutes a reason for impeachment of the president.

However, the Democratic Party of Korea plans to first gather its party's power to re-vote the Special Prosecutor's Act on Kim Gun-hee by the plenary session on the 10th.

As the ruling party's internal strife is unusual due to the controversy over the party's bulletin board, there is a high possibility that the number of leave votes will increase until the re-vote,

Floor leader Park Chan-dae said in the morning meeting that the ruling party's situation, which was in chaos due to factional fights, is embarrassing and pathetic, and pointed out that the only way for Han to live is to separate from the president and his wife.

[Park Chan-dae / Minjoo Party floor leader: Isn't it the essence of the situation that Kim Geon-hee is the highest dignity of this administration and shows Yongsan's firm will to never tolerate two families on the same roof?]

First of all, the people's power plans to respond strongly to the revision of the permanent special prosecution rules by using all legal means, such as a power dispute trial or a constitutional petition to the Constitutional Court.

Excluding the ruling party in the process of recommending the independent counsel candidate is unconstitutional, but an official from the floor leadership said in a call that they plan to take legal steps as soon as they are ready.

However, right now, the re-decision of the Special Prosecutor's Act on the 10th is at stake.

As the emotional battle between factions over the controversy over the party's bulletin board intensified, the floor leadership issued a restraining order.

However, the controversy is unlikely to subside easily as the pro-Yoon-gye, who said it would be enough if representative Han made a clean statement and moved on, and the close relationship of what kind of a cooling period is confronting each other.
