Foreign media also paid attention to Starbucks, which entered the observation deck of Aegibong Peace Ecological Park in Wolgot-myeon, Gimpo-si, Gyeonggi-do, where the view of Songaksan Mountain in North Korea was unfolded.

"At Starbucks, located at the South Korean border observatory, customers can enjoy a quiet North Korean mountain village with drinks," the Associated Press said. "To enter Starbucks here, which is only 1.4 kilometers away from North Korea, you have to pass a military checkpoint before that."

CNN also reported that on a clear day, North Korea's low buildings and farms can be seen here, and residents can see it if there is a high-performance telescope or magnifying camera.

At the same time, the observation deck outside Starbucks was crowded with customers to see the view of North Korea.

Aegibong Peace Ecological Park Observatory Starbucks has entered as part of efforts to boost tourism in the border area in areas adjacent to North Korea, such as Gimpo and Paju.

Aegibong Peak is one of the battlegrounds where South Korea and the North Korean military fought during the Korean War, and now there are memorials, exhibition halls, and gardens dedicated to the Korean War dead in the park.
