Heavy snow warnings have been issued in the northeastern United States and emergency or disaster conditions have been declared in some areas.
The National Weather Service issued a heavy snow warning for the southern coast of Lake Erie and the eastern coast of Lake Ontario on the morning of November 30 local time.
The Korea Meteorological Administration predicted that the amount of snow in the region would reach up to 120cm by Monday, the 2nd.
