"Approach through hobby activity app to induce investment"...the arrest of a gang of hundreds of billions of scams.

Police have arrested a group of people who stole hundreds of billions of won by inducing investment after accessing them through a hobby app.

The Gangbuk Police Station in Seoul recently arrested 34 people on charges of fraud and other charges, and sent nine of them to custody.

Since the end of last year, they have joined hobby apps such as bicycles and golf, communicate with victims, build friendships, and steal hundreds of billions of won by inducing them to invest.

According to the police investigation, the place they guided was a fake site that was manipulated like a securities company's website, but it was found that they used methods such as closing the website to withdraw money after investment.

So far, it has been confirmed that 16 victims have been identified by the police.
