Kim Jong-un of Hana Bank, a women's professional basketball team, has set a new record for the most points scored in WKBL history.
In the home game between Hana Bank and Samsung Life Insurance, Kim Jong-un drove the ball directly into the paint zone 25 seconds into the game and scored.
Kim Jong-un, who scored 8,141 points in his career, surpassed former women's national team coach Jeong Sun-min's 8,140 points to become the lone top scorer in WKBL history.
Hana Bank, however, suffered a crushing defeat by 19 points in the game, falling victim to Samsung Life's seven-game winning streak.
For Samsung Life, Kang Yu-rim scored a personal-high 15 points, including three 3-pointers, while Smith and Jo Su-ah also scored 13 and 14 points, respectively, helping the team to win seven consecutive games.
