Ahead of the second National Assembly vote on impeachment against President Yoon Suk Yeol, rallies are held simultaneously across the country calling for impeachment and participation in the vote in favor.
In Gwangju, 145 civic groups and more than 10,000 citizens gather to hold a citizen's rally from 3:30 p.m. and march 4km from Chonnam National University to Geumnam-ro.
In addition to Jeonbuk regions such as Jeonju, Gunsan, and Namwon, the ruling camp's strongholds of Busan, Daegu, North Gyeongsang, and South Gyeongsang Province, rallies will be held, while Gangwon Province will hold a candlelight cultural festival in which 1,800 citizens will demand the impeachment vote in seven cities and counties, including Chuncheon, Gangneung, Donghae, Taebaek, and Sokcho.
In particular, rallies will be held in Gangneung, where the conservatives are the most conservative in Gangwon Province and where President Yoon's mother's family is located.
In Daejeon and Chungcheong Province, large-scale rallies will be held at the headquarters of the resignation of the Yoon Suk Yeol regime, which is composed of political and civil and social groups, and in Jeju, a provincial assembly will be held to demand the resignation of the Yoon Suk Yeol regime.
