Inside the power of the people, the resignation of representative Han Dong-hoon is growing?
[Reporter]
After yesterday's closed general meeting of lawmakers, when representative Han Dong-hoon announced his intention to continue serving as representative, there have been a series of public claims on social media urging him to resign.
Rep. Na Kyung-won wrote that it was the beginning of unhappiness when representative Han appeared as the party's emergency committee chairman ahead of the last general election, and Rep. Kwon Young-jin set the day that a traitor who took the lead in impeachment is not qualified as representative.
In particular, the lawmakers who spoke to our reporters agreed that the representative's remarks at the assembly hall yesterday were inappropriate.
As voices of protest against representative Han, who had argued in favor of the impeachment party, the atmosphere was heated as representative Han responded, "Did I vote or did I do emergency martial law?"
Supreme Council member Jang Dong-hyuk reportedly expressed his intention to resign immediately after Han's remarks.
A senior member of the ruling party said in a phone call with YTN that Han seems to be much more stubborn than President Yoon, criticizing such self-righteousness as a problem even if he becomes a leader in the future.
Some close friends are protecting Han, saying, "Don't catch a pod."
Representative Cho Kyung-tae said in a phone call with YTN that martial law and impeachment were Han's fault, and pointed out that if it is the logic of the pro-Yoon system, the forces that are currently willing to clean up the party are those who took the lead in impeaching former President Park Geun Hye.
However, not only the pro-Yoon-gye but also those classified as so-called closeness, such as Supreme Council member Jang Dong-hyuk and Youth Supreme Council member Jin Jong-oh, expressed their resignation, and Han's representative position does not seem to be very wide.
Kwon Sung-dong, the party's two-top floor leader, is expected to come to the National Assembly in the afternoon to discuss measures to deal with the party's leadership. The representative of
was found to be in the position that the leadership should be given a few days to think about, as the leadership was virtually broken due to the resignation of the Supreme Council members.
For a while, the party's internal strife seems inevitable.

Chairman Lee Jae-myung of the Democratic Party volunteered for a press conference today, right?
[Reporter]
In the morning, he met with reporters at the National Assembly and proposed his own measures to stabilize the state affairs in the face of a presidential suspension.
First, it proposed the formation of a "National Stability Consultative Body" as a bipartisan cooperation between the National Assembly and the government.
He also said he spoke to Acting President Han Deok-soo yesterday and asked for neutral state administration, and that he decided not to take steps to impeach the acting president as long as he was discussing it within the Democratic Party.
Now, the priority is to restore the trust of the economy and the international community, which has become unstable due to the martial law crisis.
Representative Lee emphasized, however, that President Yoon should be held accountable for declaring an emergency martial law.
He asked the Constitutional Court to expedite the process of dismissing the president and argued that a strict investigation by the investigative agency and the early operation of the special prosecutor were needed.
Asked by reporters whether he has an early presidential election in mind, Lee declined to say, "Now is the time to focus on overcoming the crisis."
However, when asked if the so-called "trial risk," such as guilty of violating the election law, would affect the presidential election, he stressed that the constitution has the principle of presumption of innocence until the final judgment is made.
He added that the prosecution itself was unfair and that a reasonable conclusion would be made in accordance with the law and principles, and that the political schedule would proceed accordingly.
