The Constitutional Court will hold its first meeting of judges today in connection with President Yoon Suk Yeol's impeachment trial and begin a full-fledged hearing process.

Acting Constitutional Court Chief Justice Moon Hyung-bae will hold a meeting of judges at 10 a.m. today to decide on the preparation date for judgment and the procedure for examining evidence.

At today's meeting, two life-long judges will be designated to oversee evidence investigation, and discussions will also be held to establish a legal review TF consisting of constitutional researchers.

The chief judge of the case will also be decided today, and the Constitutional Court will disclose the main decision as soon as the judges' meeting is concluded.

The Constitutional Court also plans to deliver a copy of the impeachment request to President Yoon today and request him to submit a response.
