Former representative of the Cho Kuk Innovation Party, Cho Kuk, who was sentenced to two years in prison for corruption in children's entrance exams, has been imprisoned in a detention center.The former representative of
attended the Seoul Detention Center in Uiwang, Gyeonggi Province, at around 9:30 a.m. today (16th) for execution.The former representative of
humbly accepted the Supreme Court's sentence and said that he came to the detention center to fulfill his duty as a constitutional citizen.
At the same time, he insisted that the 'early resignation of the Yoon Suk Yeol regime', which was a pledge of the Cho Kuk Innovation Party, was achieved with the people and that the next thing should be the prosecution's dissolution.
Earlier, former CEO Cho was sentenced to two years in prison by the Supreme Court on charges of writing false information in his two children's entrance examination data and covering up the inspection of Yoo Jae-soo, former deputy mayor for economic affairs in Busan.
