Police Commissioner Jo Ji-ho, who was arrested on charges of engaging in a major mission of rebellion, has been hospitalized due to poor health.

Commissioner Cho went to the hospital for a checkup on the 12th, and on the 14th, his health deteriorated rapidly and he was transferred from the detention center of Namdaemun Police Station in Seoul to Songpa-gu Police Hospital.

Currently, Commissioner Cho has been diagnosed with blood cancer and is reportedly fighting the disease.

The National Police Agency's National Investigation Headquarters' Special Investigation Team on Emergency Security arrested Commissioner Cho in the early morning of the 11th and arrested him with a warrant from the court on the 13th.
