A man in his 40s who threatened an employee's weapon in a lottery room was arrested.

Yangju Police Station in Gyeonggi Province is arresting and investigating a man in his 40s on charges of trying to extort money by threatening an employee with a weapon in a lottery room.

A is accused of trying to commit a robbery by entering a lottery room in Samsong-dong, Yangju, at around 9 p.m. on the 13th and threatening a female employee in her 20s with a weapon.

Feeling threatened, the employee hid himself in the back of the store and reported it to the police, and fortunately, he was not hurt.

Mr. A stated in a police investigation that he committed the crime because he was behind on his monthly rent and had no living expenses.
