The Russian Kremlin declined to comment on Ukraine's claim that North Korean troops sent to Russia were killed in Kursk, near the Ukrainian border.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in a briefing today (16th) that "it is a matter of question to the Ministry of Defense" in response to a request for comment on the announcement by Ukraine's military intelligence service that at least 30 North Koreans were killed or wounded in Kursk province.

The Russian Defense Ministry has yet to make any mention of it.

Peskov criticized the European version of Politico's report that NATO and EU major countries will discuss the possibility of sending Ukraine peacekeepers on the 18th, calling it premature.

Asked if there was still a possibility of a Christmas truce proposed by Hungarian Prime Minister Orban Viktor, Russian President Putin supported Orban's peace efforts, but Ukrainian President Zelensky said he did not.
