Prosecutors arrested Army Chief of Staff Park An-soo as "commander of martial law"

Since martial law was declared, Army Chief of Staff Park An-soo, who served as the commander of martial law and announced the proclamation, has been arrested by the prosecution.

The Central District Military Court issued an arrest warrant for Army Chief of Staff Park An-soo, who is accused of engaging in important missions of rebellion.

Since martial law was declared on the 3rd, President Park is accused of announcing decree No. 1, which calls for serving as martial law commander and prohibiting political activities.

Earlier, President Park claimed that she knew martial law was declared after seeing President Yoon's statement announcement at the National Assembly, and that she did not write the decree herself.

Prosecutors investigating the martial law incident have secured all key military-related personnel, including former Defense Minister Kim Yong-hyun, Yeo In-hyeong counterintelligence commander, Lee Jin-woo, defense commander, and Kwak Jong-geun, special forces commander.
