Choi Ho-jung, chairman of the Seoul Metropolitan Council, said, "Let's support the increase in sales for self-employed people by promoting year-end parties without hurting public sentiment."
"The difficulties of self-employed and small business owners are too great than expected," Choi said at a year-end party with city council officials on the 18th. "A citizen who runs a store said that it is so hard that I feel alone in the world, but now is the time for the public to take an active role."
He added that he will encourage year-end parties to help increase sales right now, see if the Seoul Small Business Power Botam project works well, and make changes that he feels by filling in the shortcomings.
