The Military Human Rights Center, which was banned from holding a rally in front of the presidential residence in Yoon Suk Yeol, filed a lawsuit for revocation of the disposition and an injunction for suspension of execution with the court.

The Military Human Rights Center and the Lawyers for a Democratic Society Center for Public Interest Human Rights said the ban was unconstitutional and illegal, making it impossible to convey even legitimate voices of criticism.

They issued a notice of prohibition, saying the Yongsan Police Chief is highly likely to harm the privacy of residents or seriously interfere with the execution of military operations, and is concerned about serious traffic inconvenience.
He claimed that the rally scheduled for
was a peaceful rally consisting of performances in which citizens executed warrants if President Yoon was not arrested.

He also pointed out that there is no law that uniformly restricts rallies near the presidential residence because a law prohibiting rallies and demonstrations within 100 meters of the border point of the presidential residence was ruled inconsistent with the constitution.
