Recently, domestic varieties have exceeded half of their market share in recognition of their quality and price competitiveness.

It is a flower crop mainly used for Christmas decorations, and the flower, which is native to Mexico, turns red in its leaves as it spends less time in the sun.

The domestic Poinsettian variety "Flame" had a market penetration rate of only 23.6% in 2017, but its penetration rate exceeded 51% this year.
